The Blackboard User Metrics graph shows the number of unique active courses, faculty and students for each quarter between the Summer of 2004 and 2006.

In the Fall quarter of 1999 Blackboard had a total of 86 courses, 52 faculty, and 1,689 students. As of mid Summer 2002, we have implemented Blackboard's Enterprise application to automate creation of all courses, assignment of instructors, and enrollment of students. By Fall quarter of 2002, Blackboard had a total of 6,103 courses, 1,521 faculty, and 20,547 students in the system (hence the large increase).
